About the Ministry:
Caring Dinner is held every other month, on the fourth Saturday at 1:00pm in Fellowship Hall at Ridgewood. The dinner is free of charge to community seniors and needy persons who would like to partake in a great meal and enjoy each other’s fellowship. Different Ridgewood groups volunteer to take responsibility for each meal, planning the menu and cooking and serving the dinner to our guests. We usually serve about 100 people during these dinners and personally deliver meals to our shut-ins that can’t make it in person. All extra food is then taken to St. Herman’s Homeless Shelter.
Would You Like to Join us for Dinner?
If you or someone you know would like to be our guest for dinner, please register your attendance on the Tuesday or Wednesday two weeks before the scheduled dinner by calling (440) 885-1360 (for example, if the dinner is scheduled for September 24, then the call-in days would be Tuesday, September 13th or Wednesday, September 14th).
If you would like to volunteer to help out with the dinner, we would appreciate the extra hands! There are a variety of ways to be involved: you can help with setup or take-down, setting tables, serving the meals, washing dishes, delivering the meals, and more.
Please call the church office at (440) 885-1360 for more information.
