6:30pm: In this introspective service, we remember how Jesus taught his disciples servanthood and shared the symbolism of the bread and wine.
3/30/18 Good Friday
12:00Noon: Good Friday Organ Reflections; organist Ira Cooper explores a whirlwind of moods and senses of the 2,000 year old events of Jesus’ from Pilate’s house on the way to his crucifixion, and powerfully out of the vacated tomb.
7:00pm: A meditative service recreates the emotional aspects of the passion story. We pray and depart in silence because the story isn’t over until Easter Day.
3/31/18 Holy Saturday
10:00am: Although we will not gather as a worshipping community this day, the general Board of Discipleship of the United Methodist Church will offer a service via social media on Twitter. Search #holysat18 at 10:00am
4/1/18 Easter Sunday
6:30am: Our sights are lifted from the shadows of Good Friday to the dawning hope of the resurrection. This early morning setting in the Ridgewood Lake Park Pavilion welcomes the brilliant presence of the risen Christ through dawning light as the Word is proclaimed.
10:00am: This celebration will include Holy Communion, music for voices, instruments, organ and carillon, the marvelous Easter Gospel proclaimed, a special message and the wonderful company of celebrating believers in our sanctuary.
